Abigail Gets Raves for Her Role in 'Signs'
 
Abigail Breslin drew rave reviews for her performance in Signs, the horror/sci-fi flick in which she shared top billing with Mel Gibson.

In Signs, which premiered in 2003, everthing suddenly changes for farmer and ex-clergyman Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) when he discovers a crop circle - an intricate 500-foot pattern of lines and curves - mysteriously carved into one of his fields.

As Hess gets caught up in an ever-deepening and progressively more frightening series of discoveries, he realizes that the clues he ucovers will forever alter the lives of his brother (Joaquin Phoenix) and his children(Abigail Breslin and Rory Culkin).

Shyamalan, whose previous credits include The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, set this newest thriller on a farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

The movie is a hair-raising roller-coaster rides that plunges Hess & Family into a twisting, turning, churning, heart-pounding plot involving faith, hostile aliens, interplanetary threats, the local police, and the ultimate fate of All of Us.

Abigail, as AllReviews.com critic Edward Johnson-Ott describes her, is "a gorgeous little girl known for leaving barely touched glasses of water all over the house after deciding the liquid is "contaminated." Gazing at the stalks flattened into geometric shapes, the asthmatic young Morgan says, 'I think God did it.'"
